so the thermometer bottomed out at negative 48 this morning, ouch. our pipes are frozen as well, which means, of course, no showers. yay.
hopefully things manage to thaw out a bit tomorrow. tonight its not supposed to drop below -35 and we are supposed to hit positive numbers on the actual temp with the windchill only hitting negative 29 before going up to negative 10..... my god, negative 10 sound balmy to me right now P_P
on the bright side i got to test that thing with throwing boiling water into the air and having it instantly turn to snow.. worked fairly well to my surprise. about half of the water just fell in the snow but a good portion turned to a puff of snow and ice.

well were back at camp, so the loon pictures have begun to roll in! i have kit(fates Guardian) up here this time as well, dragged her all the way up from Kentucky to northern Wisconsin, poor foxy doesn't know what to do with so many trees! hehe it also gives me the opportunity to scare the crap out of her personally on a regular basis.
